Ingredients

3 tablespoons of olive oil

1 package of Beyond Burger patties

2 tablespoons of white onion, minced

2 large garlic cloves, minced

2 cups of BBQ sauce

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of pepper

Hot sauce, to taste

1 package of mini burger buns

2 tablespoons of sweet pickle relish

6 slices of vegan American cheese
-
6 slices of vegan cheddar cheese

3 tablespoons of vegan butter, melted

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 °F (205 °C).

In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil on medium high. Place the patties in the skillet. With a wooden spoon or fork, mash the patties until they have a beef-like texture. Add the onions and garlic. Cook until the onions are translucent, about 4 minutes.

Add BBQ sauce, salt and pepper, and hot sauce to taste. Set aside.

On a small, shallow baking sheet, lay the bottom halves of the slider buns side by side. Spread with sweet pickle relish until evenly coated. Follow with a layer of American cheese, a Beyond Burger patty, and a slice of cheddar cheese.

Place the bun top halves on each slider and brush with vegan butter.

Bake for 7 minutes or until the cheese has completely melted. Serve immediately.
