Brownies
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a small pot, melt butter over low heat. Add cocoa powder and chocolate. Melt by stirring for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, brown sugar and vanilla extract.
- Add reserved chocolate mixture to egg mixture, stirring constantly.
- Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until dry ingredients are just moistened, not more.
- Grease a square 20-cm (8-in.) baking pan or line pan with parchment paper. Pour brownie mixture evenly into pan. Bake on middle rack for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand for 25 minutes.
Icing
- Submerge can of Red Velvet Fondue in boiling water for 15 minutes to melt chocolate inside.
- In the meantime, bring cream to a boil and set aside. Carefully open fondue can and combine contents in a bowl with reserved cream while it's still warm.
Assembly
- Spread icing on brownie. Let cool at room temperature and top with white chocolate shavings. Cut into 6 to 8 squares.
