- Grease a round, 20-25 cm (8-10 in.) in diameter cake pan.
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and place rack in middle position.
- Cut half of the cherries in two. Place all ground cherries (whole and halved) and slivered almonds into the dish.
- In a bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla, and melted butter.
- Add the oat flour and ground almonds to the egg mixture. Mix until smooth. Stir in the milk and yogurt. Set aside about 5 minutes.
- Pour the egg mixture into the dish, over the cherries and almonds.
- Bake in the centre position 50 to 55 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- If desired, set the oven to broil for the last two minutes or so of baking to grill the top of your clafouti. Watch closely to ensure it doesn’t burn.
