- In a small pot bring brewed coffee to a rolling boil, boil until reduced by half. This should take about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool fully.
- To make burger patties combine ground beef and pork, onion, garlic, salt, pepper and parsley. Add 3 tbsp. of cooled concentrated coffee. Mix well.
- Portion into 8 equal sized meat balls. Shape into burger patties, approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick.
- Place burgers evenly onto a paper lined tray, cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour to allow the burgers to set/firm before grilling.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat, about 450-550°F.
- Spray burger patties on both sides with non-stick cooking spray.
- Grill burgers 6-8 minutes per side, until burgers are fully cooked (internal temperature 160°F/70°C).
- Garnish with caramelized onions, crumbled blue cheese, bacon strips and other toppings according to personal tastes, such as lettuce and tomato slices.
