- Preheat half of the grill, setting the burners to high.
- Place the crust on a round pizza pan. Top with the sour cream, red onion and bacon.
- Place the pizza on the hot side of the barbecue. Break the eggs directly on the pizza. Close the lid and cook for 4 minutes.
- Move the pizza to the side of the barbecue that is off. Continue to cook with the lid closed until the eggs are cooked, about 6 minutes (see Chef’s tip).
- Remove the pizza from the barbecue. Sprinkle with the green onion. Adjust the seasoning. Serve immediately.
Chef’s tip
For the perfect breakfast pizza, we recommend runny egg yolks and whites that are just barely cooked. Keep on eye on the pizza in the last 2 minutes of cooking to ensure the desired degree of doneness.
