- Preheat oven to 200 °C (400 °F).
- Squeeze thawed spinach to remove excess water. In a large bowl, combine spinach, green onions, artichokes, cheeses, mayonnaise, sour cream and Worcestershire sauce. Season to taste.
- Cut off top of country loaf and scoop out centre, taking care not to pierce crust.
- Fill loaf with dip mixture. Wrap lower part of loaf in foil, leaving top uncovered.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until dip is hot.
- For a golden finish, broil loaf for 3–5 minutes.
- Remove from oven and serve immediately with pieces of bread, pretzels or veggies.
Chef’s secret
- Using fresh spinach can add a touch of freshness to the dip. If you choose this option, briefly fry the spinach in a skillet with a little olive oil until it wilts before adding it to the dip.
- For a richer flavour, add a pinch of grated nutmeg to the dip.
